The seat belt in my RR appears too short for me to use safetly.
I am by no means fat and only 5'6" tall so need my seat pretty well forward to reach the pedals.

I can only just fasten my seat belt and that is with a strugle. When I have tne belt on I cannot see to the left as I cannot move forward to look left,so rely on my missus to tell me if the road is clear to advance, and that is bloody dangerouse.

Do they make seat belt extensions for Range Rover P38's ?

Probly ! but yer can get special shoes made up with big thick soles on so yer can reach yer pedals!;)

move the steering column towards you and seat base forward but seat back recline slightly,

failing that get one of the other 6 dwarfs to do the pedals and you do the steering!!!

Hi,
Something doesn't seem right here. I have a '96 P38a DT and am similar height as you so need the seat about as far forward as it'll go and as low as possible but I have no problem with the length of the seat belt. It must be either tangled inside the pillar or the inertia lock is latching too easily preventing the belt being fully pulled out.

I agree with mikeateves, i am only 5 4" and there is still loads of travel left in the seat belt in my 96 4.6. The reel has to be jammed or the belt twisted or something.
