Can anyone tell me what the disk is i need to look for to update it still has the original one in there ??

had a look at torrentz didnt have any joy anybody point me in the right direction ??

What year is your RR? Mine is a 98 and it uses a CD rather than a DVD so it's a bit more limited i.e. you can't enter post codes, only street names etc. Otherwise it works OK. Mine had the original disc also when I bought it. I got another 'updated' one from fleabay but I didn't really notice any difference. You should have some information on the disc where to get an updated one as well - I seem to remember
it's a phone number in France. They'll need as much information as possible either on the unit itself or the year of manufacture etc. Also the version of the disc you have. Last year they quoted around £80 I think for an updated disc. I'm working away at the moment so I can't give you any more details. If you're still stuck in a months time or so, I'll see what I can find out when I get back.

Got mine 2007/8 version from a bloke on Ebay £12.40 including postage. He is in Germany, Liepzig i think. If you want the 2008/9 version with post codes they are around £59.00 from same bloke. Look for Tele Atlas maps. You will see some horreendous buy it now prices but if you look around you should be able to get one cheap. Think mine was £1.40 plus £11.00 postage. you can get a bargain. Carin or VDO will do.
