a newbie here,
sold my 1999 s2 4.ol gs disco and bought a 2.5 diesel 1996 rangee, changed batteries in remote and now it has locked me out, wont open doors or even start
looking for a good mechanic that knows about these cars
key fob is flashing red light, but not doing a thing
got two codes for EKA and carnt get either to work
based in Beeston, Nottingham if anyone can help me
tryed all the resynch stuff but nothing :doh:

Hi, :welcome2: to the asylum; try doing a search using the button on top and if no joy there; posting your Q on the Ra/Ro board; you'll get more help there :)
 
I take it you have tried holding the lock putton in , put key in door turn to right for a few seconds then turn back , remove key and release button, sorry to repeat something you have been trying but give this another go, try turning the key the other way and holding the other button in, i have changed my key battery 3 times and twice it was a few seconds to re synch the third time it took me a few minutes changing buttons and directions
