Thought I would share my service job I did this week. The car's (2001 4.6 vogue with LPG conversion) running a bit lumpy so I went to check the plugs and all was not well. All look different colours and different wear levels. Got myself some champion double platinum units from the Landrover centre in Speke. Left them at the pre set gap of a fraction over 1mm. All done and went for a drive. On petrol all was well but on gas it turned into a pig. Misfires and small bombs going off. Got home and started again and reduced the plug gaps to 0.85mm and after a re test running really smooth.
When pulling off one of the plug boots it split and some oxidisation fell out, so I've just ordered some magnecore leads from DC performance. I will report back once delivered and fitted. Can't wait to lose knuckle skin at the coil packs.
