Hello

I am new to the forum and this is my first post, so please bear with me if I foul it up or if it is in the wrong place.

I have a year 2000 P38 2.5 Diesel with a manual gearbox.

I would like to swap the manual box for an Auto box. Does anyone know:
1) How easy/difficult this would be?
2) What would be involved?
3) What the costs might be assuming use of secondhand or reconditioned parts?

Why not just sell it and buy an auto the cost is likely to be horrendous by the time you have changed all the interior trim, various ecu's , pedal box etc.
