Hi All

I have recently had my P38 converted to run on lpg. The problem I am having is when I try to fill it with gas it takes approximately 10 mins to put £2 of gas in. My mate who fitted it said it's just air in the tank and the more you fill it with gas the better it will get as the gas will purge the air out of the system. Does this sound right to anyone? I am not really using the car just now as I am waiting to get the job inspected by a lpga so I can make my insurance aware, but I would like to try to work out what the problem is.

It might be worth posting or searching on the LPG forum, it does not sound 'normal' to me. When the tank is filled with LPG under pressure some gas should be vented. It is quite a slow laborious thing to fill but at 49p a litre it is worth the wait :D
