Please tell me how many horns a 2002 P38 should have and where are they located. I had a look the grill with a small torch but can only see the fans for the radiator. Also, when I do find them please tell me what the measured resistance should be beween the two terminals. Thanks.

On my 97 diesel they are either side of the rad next to the headlights, accessed with bonnet open divers side is in the battery tray.

Are your horns dead or are you do you just want new horns?
The horns work but if I sound them for any more than a second or so the fuse blows. Somebody on here said that they must be pulling too much current, which makes sense, thats why I wondered what the resistance across their terminals should be. I've not checked the resistance of the ones currently fitted yet but I picked up a couple from Ebay, one measures about 1.6 Ohms which sounds about right?, the other is measuring around 0.8 from memory but I suspect this may be faulty as it would be pulling around 15A on its own.

I just checked the resistance of the near side horn fitted to the car and it measures 0.4 ohms. The replacement measures 2.5 ohms so it would appear I have another problem solved thanks to the good people of this forum. Thanks guys.
