A few months ago, I was opening the door when the handle sheared off the bit at the bottom (technical terms!).

I've been keeping an eye on fleabay for a replacement chrome handle for a few months, but never seen any for sale. Does anyone know where I might get my hands on one?

If Datatek can't help you'll find that most breakers have them but as they seldom break there's not a market for them so they usually end up in the scrap bin.

At the end of the day, a working handle, whether it's chrome or plastic ought to be the first priority until you can get the proper part. Plastic will be as cheap as chips from a breaker and readily available.

Oh, it's really not that urgent. The door opens fine with the broken handle, and putting the wheels back on is probably a higher priority :)

As long as there aren't any freak snow showers any time soon, I shouldn't need to drive it for a while anyway.

Thanks for all the responses though - I've emailed a couple of breakers yards, will keep my ears open.
