can any one tell me which pipe (return or feed) the diesel should come up when priming the pump?
reason being arfter the last time i posted stuff about it over heating it turned out to be a head gasket and then later blew up!!! piston broke up and went through the block,Now we are trying to fit a bmw diesel in it out of a bmw.....
When we had the return pipe of we turned the ignition on by accident and it pumped diesel through

I would of thought it would pump through the feed and into the filter



Does any one know............

Diesel comes from the lift pump or leccy pump it may have, then into the IP via the feed pipe, then excess will come out the return pipe back to the filter/tank.
