Hello just got my first range rover a 1996 4.6hse
Seen a few posts about the central locking but this is my problem. Remote key fobs only unlock rear doors and turn alarm off. Front doors and tailgate do not unlock via fob. Drivers door barrel and key will unlock drivers door and tailgate. But passenger door only unlocks via lifting button up inside.
I seen you can get a modified rf unit in the boot.
Will this mean I need also new actuators for front doors and tailgate aswell. Seems strange that a signal from fob will unlock rear doors. You would think the unit would pack up all together. Really need tailgate to work via fob as will be used the most. Any ideas thank you
