Im not sure exactly when my p38 was built but im now beginning to think its quite an early one after a quick chat with the chief engineer on the l322 rangie. I wonder if anyone knows what chassis numbers the early uk p38's have?

if you check vin number last 2 letters before the last set of numbers gives you year ie ma 94/95 na 95/96 etc

I worked on a P38 Becm recently and the VIN was 002600. The actual car BUILD (Not registration) date was 24/10/1994.
This was the earliest one I have seen to date !!!

No doubt someone will come along and beat it.............................

Bloody hell just looked up Hilversum and it's still going. Thoughs were the days, trying to get Luxy on the old valve set. Ear to speaker trying to listen to it. That's where Kellogs got the idea for snap, crackle, pop i think.:D:D
