hi i have a 1998 2.5 dt which needs the air con re gassing i have access to a charging station and the know how as i use it at work but need to know the weight of gas the system holds ??

There should be a yellow sticker on the bonnet slam panel when you open the bonnet on the left hand side in front of the battery box. Can't remember what it is off hand, think, and this is a guess, that it's around 1250g.

Mine is a later car, 2001 DHSE and thus has a smaller condenser (changed for diesels from mid-2000 onwards) so mine is 980g.

Mine is pretty poor as well, has been since I bought the car. Must get it charged as yesterday was awfull in the heat !

Sorry, 1250g was for a pre-99 model year V8 petrol.

It's 1100g for the diesel pre-2000.
