Hello all

I am working out on the West Coast of Africa and we are having some vehicle problems.

Firstly we have had to fit coil springs due to the air bag leaking and then ruining the pump. A real shame as the Air Suspension really made this car what it is, it is far worse off now with the springs but you just cannot trust the EAS system when you work out here.

The new problem is the engine wont start. Can anyone tell me the location and operation of the fuel pump?

Does it just run off the ignition and have a pressure switch in it or does it go through the ECU etc?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

p38 is all controlled through a combination of gadgets and gizmos that all come from the ecu, there are loads of members on here that will help you but you are best off coming on in the evening
