Any messages on the dash?
Have you tried entering the eka code? 
+1 on a 2000 P38 once Eka code entered key should resync once its put in ignition and turnedHave you tried entering the eka code?

C-Locking not working on key (drivers door) is the contacts in the door-latch switch pack most likely.
Not locking/unlocking on the fob is the two are out of synch. Will re-synch if you enter EKA (by diags if the switches on the drivers doorlock are duff).
Check if you RF receiver has the aerial lead connected and/or stand right by the OSR boot window while trying it if the aerial is disconnected.

Mine only unlocks the drivers door with the key in the lock when out of sync
sure it should lock and unlock with key but not allow the car to start unless eka entered or has been immobilised
What i meant is the central locking doesn't work for me when out of sync, it only unlocks the one door
Yeh sorry that's right you have to manually lock and unlock the other doors. Not sure if the boot opens though
