According to RAVE the filler is near the top front of the gearbox sump (the wider end), drain at the bottom. But on mine this is where the gearbox dipstick pipe is attached ! I can't find a filler hole anywhere.
To add to the fun there appeared to be no oil on the dipstick (yes I did follow the correct procedure)
so I had to top up using a small funnel & the dipstick pipe. Added a small amount, probably half a teacup & it now looks way over the full level.
All running smoothly & gearchange smooth & quiet, so I think I'll ignore it but would like to know where the filler is for the next service time. If anyone knows I will be grateful. Thanks.
