There have been some posts on o rings for the aircon compressor, along the lines of the OEM parts at £6-£8 for a single rubber o ring being unreasonable...indeed so.
Anyone have the correct size for these?
My aircon compressor is leaking from where the hot and cold pipes connect to it, possibly because the wrong thickness of o ring has been fitted in the past. When I get our local garage to recharge the system, I want to make sure they use the correct size replacement seals.
Thanks in advance...

Not sure, but I think the aircon O rings are not the standard material.

That is a very good point. Maybe there is a good reason why they are a silly price and also a good reason why the ones fitted to my compressor are leaking. Aircon fluid is not very nice stuff after all. Thanks once again for the steer - I owe you quite a few beers by now!!

The O rings on my aircon are a light green colour.

Just tracking these down, and pale green seems to be the colour, so they defo are not the usual black neoprene. Also, they seem to be a £2-£3 each, so not too bad for a proper solution.
Looks like the part numbers are JUU100230L (9mm) and JUU100240L (14mm)...

Would that be the same for my Thor engine too? Need to do the compressor, drier and condenser
A different compressor is listed post 1999 (or sometimes post 2001) so might be different o rings for the Thor. Listing is confusing though, some places list for all P38, some just early (GEMS) ones. My GEMS has a Sanden TR5105N compressor with a label on it, so might be worth looking for a label on your compressor...

There are two on the condenser and there are a couple of joints on the pipe work one by the eas box and one somewhere else that i forget.

When I sorted my AC, I bought a generic seal kit on Amazon. It had everything I needed.
