Help! I don't want to be alone. Has anyone else got a P reg. Yes I know they stopped at N etc and made a few for SV (which is what this mine is) but I would like to start a group for P owners but am stuck @ one member... me! Have posted pics in the Range Rover gallery.
 
You can make that two then! I've only ever seen one more on a 'P' plate, that was a blue SE, broken down on the M40!

If only I could get the assault platform for it, but they're rarer than hens teeth and mega-bucks new, even if they'll sell one to you. For that you need to have friends in very high places. I haven't!!
 
So if i,v got this right the red one is yours, yes? (and very smart she looks) I own a blue SE , so thats two and you saw 1 on the M40 also blue making it 3 so far. unless of course the blue one was mine when it belonged to its previous owner. He came from Bristol so could of been on the M40.. Am glad I am not the only member of the 'P'reg club of Great Britain... te he :D Have you owned yours long and have you had any probs? Mileage?
 
Have checked out your pics and yes mine has had some of the added bits shown (light on stalk and infr-red switch,a few holes etc) but no cage, although there is weld marks where something has been. Mine too is x SAS 22 squad and now has 111000 on the clock.
 
Mine was EV 71 AA, cast around the same time. I've owned it about 4+ years. It wa featured in the Feb '03 edition of LRM along with N359 NBV
(EV 70 AA) They had also tracked down EV 72 AA which was for sale at a Hereford Garage but had lost track of yours. There were only four in this batch so that's all of them accounted for.
Problems: Rust, it really needs the back end rebuilding along with the front imnner wings patching. I hope to do that this year once my new company car arrives and I can afford to take the Rangie off the road for a while. I blew one of the head gaskets due to the radiator being knackered. Various gremlins with the ABS system over the years, and a new transfer box shortly after buying it. Mileage when cast 58k, now on 131k.
It still makes me smile every time I get into it!!

I've just re-read the magazine article and it seem that they weren't aware of your car. They thought the series ended at EV 73 AA.

Hi Pete. Did you get my pm ? Damn tinternet went wonky as I sent it you. Yes would like to meet yours and learn more etc. I am 20 miles away from you. Have taken your advice re insurance. Many thanks. Will pm you with my details again.
