Can anyone tell me how i can get an owners manual for a freelander TD4 02 plate.

New ones should still be available from the dealer.
There are several secondhand ones on Ebay at the moment, just make sure you get the right one for your vehicle.

If you do a search on here for the rave dowload from green oval, you will find the owners handbook included in the download.

not sure what's happened to the greenoval website, but it seems you can get what you need from here, make sure you gets discs 1 and 2

land rover rave technical system

can somehelp please, is this book a mechnical manual for the freelander or is it a copy of the factory owners book?? I dont want to fart about filling the computer up for the wrong thing. Im after the mechnical one.

The Rave's got it all.
Worshop manual, drivers manual, explanations on how all the systems work, circuit diagrams and even how to fit and install LR's own accessories.
Simples.
(only goes up to 2003 models tho')

The rave download is like a Haynes manual its what the dealers used up to 2002 before switching to testbook. It does assume you have some basic mechanical knowledge. Included in rave is a copy of the owners handbook. It a very good tool for repairs and even though it is only up to 2002 a lot of the info is good for the later models as well.
