Good link, although very South African orientated.
If anyone is travelling overland to West Africa, in particular Senegal (well worth a visit), I have a useful contact of an excellent Landrover specialist mechanic; ABBAS CISS, he can also find spare parts where others can't, and all at very reasonable prices. He currently keeps my series III on the road in an admirable way.
If you need to contact him ring: (00221) 528 7885, or otherwise he would welcome correspondents by writing to him (postal service is quite good - registered mail gets there in about 5 days from UK) - Abbas Elimane Ciss, Quartier Kip-Kip, Sebikotane 20200, Senegal.
