Been playing with Memory map today - Does anyone have a copy of the maps
for Region 2? Im interested in Bedfordshire, northamptonshire etc?

Naughty. They're relatively inexpensive considering how good they are,
so why not buy them?

And to prove I'm not just acting as some net nanny, if you were to buy
an older mapset (off eBay for example) then there is a relatively
simple bodge that will get the maps to load in a newer version of MM
which cirumvents the onerous restrictions that OS insist on!

depends what it's for. I've no real qualms about ripping microsnot
products, for example. I do however tend to register and pay for shareware
if it's good and I use it regularly, and I've no problem at all about paying
someone to maintain up to date AV and a server I can download updates from
24/7. There used to be an attitude that AV software "should" be free -
well, if I were doing all that work and running that server, *I'd* want
paying for it.
