Hi guys, my drivers window has stopped working and I suspect it's the motor (no grinding noises - window just went up one day and won't come back down, fuse is fine). I wonder if it's due to the extra strain of closing the window passed the wind deflectors?

I've had the door card off and the regulator and cables all seem intact but most of the ebay sellers are only selling the motor and regulator together - is it worth me replacing both at the same time or should I hold out until someone will flog just the motor?

Do motors off any other rover/LR/mg fit?
