Hi can anyone tell if cruise control is optional extra on landmark or es model? Many thanks Paul

My 2001 ES premium did not have cruise, easy job to fit so not a problem, pretty much like the D1 cruise, it aint the best!

TD5 Cruise works very well on a TD5. Look for a button on the RHS of the instrument pod that looks like a motorway gantry. The controls are on the RHS of the steering wheel. If not fitted the kit is fairly cheap and should be plug and play.

My GS came with it fitted already, I assume by the factory, so I'd a thought it would be found on an ES. Works fine with a TD5 auto.
This is what you are looking for

second button up from the bottom on the right plus the two buttons on the right of the steering wheel centre pad.

I've got a 2001 Disco 2 V8 ES with cruise control but it's a NAS if that makes any difference.

No really. For your 2001 model year CC was a standard fitment on all UK spec discos of that year, and an option only on TD5 manuals.

That is one thing you can't lay on a TD5 they are pretty grunty.

Nope was always dissapointed with mine, even when chipped, that was a manual.
I even test drove an auto version once with a view to buying, bugger me sideways that was even slower and then some:D
