Had my 54 plate TD4 for exactly a week and I am getting an intermittent fault.
When under load at about 2700 revs sometime it feels very hesitant and the EWL comes on. Take off some load (reduce naturally lead right footed tendencies) and the light goes off. Put it back on light comes on. As I said it's a bit intermittent. Some times it'll not happen at all and it's a good happy motor.
Done a bit of searching and I think that it's the fuel pump. Fortunately I have one of those "3 month warranty" that come with some second hand cars... just that in my experience these aren't normally worth having.
I was hoping it was the EGR but it's not that.
Anyone want to say "no you are wrong"?
