What the **** is up with my range rover 2.5dt 97. I am getting an average of 19-21mpg thats bit of dual carrage way and back lane driving. it's an auto so i would expect it to be a little worse on fuel.
I've been told my sensor injector need changing because its rubbish at starting too! would this cause the fuel comsumption??
any one with any ideas please HELP!!!!!! I'm going to be pennyless in around 10 seconds.

Post it if you change the sensor injector re price /difficulty. Mine's a hopeless starter but get 28-29mpg : mostly rural running.

I'd check the fuel leak off pipes (located under the black plastic cover on top of the engine), if they're perished or split, it will cause bad starting and high fuel consumption.....well worth doing anyway just for piece of mind and cheap if you buy the flexible pipe for a car shop...
