Hi all, just noticed when getting car ready for mot on Friday that the 2 wires from the oil pressure switch have been snapped/broken off from the main loom. There's about 18inches and 12inches on each respectively. I'm hoping that the oil pressure is fine as engine runs and sounds fine after 3 years of ownership.
The question is where is the corresponding loom where they(it) connects too, I know one isn't needed. Can't seem to find a stray cable anywhere that looks like it should connect to, well not in engine bay anywhere.
Any ideas as it seems quite a common occurrence to get broken.
Thanks people in advance.

Rewire the whole circuit of the white/brown wire from C0162/0448 pin 1 untill the switch and you are covered

I'll give it a try if I can't find the loom where it broke from. Should make it easier to trace now I now where the start point is.
Mot tomorrow so see if de cat and EGR delete pass. I have a special trick to hopefully fool tester so will have a look at loom tomorrow if car passes.
Cheers for info.
