oil light came on a few weeks ago, i thought i would order a few bits before checking just in case
oil pressure switch
relief spring and plunger

took off pump out and checked for condition of gears and end float less than 4-6 thou OK

the britpart oil switch althouigh correct number came with a 10mm x 1mm thread the thread on mine is 3/8 BSF, bought correct one off ebay

spring that came was too long , original spring correct length , looked ok , just to make sure added a washer behind it,

the plunger had a bit of a wear ridge, swopped this over

fitted it all back togther it worked ok, but curious to know what actual pressure is, i bought a 52mm gauge from ebay and got a fitting kit online(£17)

fits nicely in the dash (correct size holes behind the vinyl) and getting around 50psi :)

nice, mind you don't crash while staring at the oil pressure gauge! if you turn corners really fast does to oil pressure drop off much??? my oil pressure light would come on when pulling some sharp turns!! :D

My oil pressure gauge seems to work well, but i usually run at 60 - 70 psi, not the 40 - 60 it says in the book... I dunno whats up with that.
