Hi, Last weekend I purchased my first land rover. Its am ex RAF 110 2.5 Diesel NA.

I am loving it to bits and hope to tidy it up and use it as my daily driver.

I have discovered its leaking abit of oil from the top of the rocker cover. (its coming from the bit which sticks out from the middle of the rocker cover. See pic

What part/gaskets do I need to fix this? Can someone tell me the part no. and where to source the part from.

Hope you can help. Thanks

James

I wouldent worry about it if its just a slight leek. Most landrover engines do it abit, even my calibras engine had a leek like that.

Looks like you need a new washer under the heater pipes bracket - its just a little paper thing, a bit of cornflakes box will do.

Compared to mine, that's immaculate. That bit of the rocker cover will never rust.

The rocker cover shouldn't rust anyway, its ally

The best way ive found to fix tht leak - get some pond liner, or any rubbery stuff will do, cut a square of it, cut a hole in the middle, fit is as a washer. Sorted! WOrks every time.

Welcome to LR ownership!
