I have an oil leak which is at the base of the dipstick tube on my Classic Range Rover (approx 1977 block).
Should there be an O ring under the retaining lip which the small forked retaining bracket pushes down on?
Once the bracket is removed, should the tube just pull out?
Any advice would be appreciated.
