Hi all :),

After limping home on Sunday with a sick motor thinking the worst (injectors!) i've identified the very common td5 problem of oil entering the injector loom ........... the oil dripped from the plug on the ECU !!
So the parts have turned up .......... new loom and a cover gasket.

One question if anyone can advise ........... Obviously the new part only replaces the top half of the loom .......... what can be done with lower half that has oil still inside ?? ........... is it a case of weekly cleaning ??

................ reading more on this i'd better check for cable damage along the loom as well ?
