So my Td5 defender was revving up on idle, pulled up the drivers seat and seat box is swimming in oil, pulled red plug from ecu and oil dribbled out, not opened ecu yet but I can guess it too is full, can I clean this out and expect it to be perfectly fine or am I looking at a new ecu? If I do need a new one I was looking at remapped ones on ebay, can I buy any or is there a code I need to match?

New injector harness 1st then clean the ecu with electrical cleaner spray........ And only electrical cleaning spray.

I had a look at videos about changing injector harness, what about the loom from the Harness to ecu, how do I get the oil out of that, or do I have to replace that too?

Same cleaner down the harness or just replace it
