Well, I for one appreciate all the work that goes on in the background to keep our beloved community online - many moon ago I was a donater, and when I went to renew it, the donation system was disbanded....is this still the case?
I get so much from the LZ community I would like to give back as I did before in way of recognising and recompense for the expenses of site administration....
Are the 'issues' surrounding donations still the same - or am I once again able to donate to the forum?
The donation thing was great when we had it but, we were made aware of some legalities around donations a couple of years ago. I honestly can't remember what the exact reason was but, there was definitely something. I will quiz Roy tomorrow when I buy him a pint for fixing us. My hammer clearly wasn't the right shade of flavor this time

A lot of us used to donate, and I think would happily do so again, but it has been raised quite a few times, and apparently is no longer acceptable, as Accy said.

I’m sure B.B. couldn’t be bothered collecting a measly ten grand or so from each of us. It can’t be easy getting out of the hot tub when your watching the sun set from the porch of your sea front villa. The sponsorship alone from Russian brides keeps him in half a dozen teenage concubines supplying endless strawberry dackeries and foot massages.
