rebuilding my series 3 from the ground up its at rolling chassis stage with engine and gearbox fitted and it was not the most fun of jobs sticking the 2 together and I have gone and left the push rod and clip for the slave cylinder off! Can I fit it through that whole where the cylinder fits or am I going to have to split the two components again?

it will work ok without it, but since its a rolling chassis it would be easier to pull the box off if you feel the need to fit it

James do you think I will manage to fit the clip with a set of long nose pliers?

its worth a try ,some clips are a bit brittle now though
