I noticed when in the stealers the other day, that LR do an off-roading how-to CD/DVD - duz anyone have a copy I cud borrow/download - or is it a waste of time and space?

Would be interested in one myself. In the mean time have a look on the Difflock site. there's some good stuff on there if you can find it.

what do you want to know MHM? if its "what is my gaylander capable off" then i can answer that for you ;)

best way to learn is to go out with experienced guys :) and dont resort to the winch! there are plenty of other ways to recover yourself!

I had a couple of them way back when. They were a bit pointless to be honest. Best thing ya could do Daft would be book yerself a day or half day off road tuition (someone bought me one of them once, never did use it & no I ain't still got it!).

Might have to travel a bit to a centre, but there's quite a few about. You'll learn shedloads more actually doing it than watching some DVD.

Then you could get a proper truck to go with yer new found knowledge. ;)

your welcome to come out with us anytime daft :) there isnt a huge amount to learn anyway. most of the stuff in southern england is tame anyway.

let me know if you want to come along on the next adventure.
