Hi folks

Maybe a silly question, but does anyone of road their P38s?

Seen plenty of jacked up Discos & Classics but no P38s or later models. Are they too new & expensive, or just a bit crap & u reliable?

look up a user on here 996 turbo. hes got lots of pics and sell offroad stuff for the p38 too.

there great off road but there expensive when you make the wrong choice! lol

Cheers guys, I'll check it out. Finding it tricky to source a good Classic that is ready to go (locally I admit. Been a few oop north), wondered if a newer Rangie might be easier to find especially as I'm in the south east.

Those horrible alloys would have to go though!

Cant see them lasting very long.

P38's are very capable off road, great steering lock traction control works very well, good ground clearance with the EAS I wouldn't mind one myself it's just the cost of running them, they must be one of the most expensive motors on the road. We still get quite a few in at work one in particular the guy has spent 18k in the last 5 yrs and it still needs work.

Mine does a bit of greenlaning and has been to a local pay & play site in Bawtry, run by jeepworld.

Didn't to anything too extreme (it's my dialy driver) but it coped really well (could maybe do with some more aggressive tyres, it's on scorpion ST's) got it really muddy but no damage.

Certainly not going to treat it the same way as my old landcruiser but happy enough
