Does anyone know of any organised off road days in Derbyshire? It'll be my 1st time, so thought it would be best with a few experianced people about.

Righto chap. Buxton and district Land Rover club do 2 public playdays a year on Bank Holidays. The next one is August bank holiday. There are also a few green lanes dotted about. The best map is OS Explorer OL24.

Thanks for that. I've found their website and it looks like the sort of thing i'm after. I realise that i've stayed at the campsite opposite the quarry they use on a couple of occasions. Are there normally many who camp for the weekend? We haven't any plans for August bank holiday so thought i might book in.

If you join BADLRC you can camp on the playday site.

That'd be fine, but the old girl likes 'facilities'. Apparently it's unexceptable not to have a shower in the morning!!

Nowt comes between me and the "Bitch". The "Bitch" being the Ayathollahs reference pertaining to the Landy.
