started a few of the odd jobs today. had planned to do more but the fact it was raining and i had 2 kids to look after made it a nightmare lol.

realised after starting that the seat bolster is beyond repair, so have just patched really. the seats are really dirty and despite having professional products cant get them bright enough. so plan b is to take them out and refurb them. I have done the steering wheel but it will prob need some more coats when i do the seats!

maybe will paint the grille tommorrow, but cant decide between gloss or satin black?

Just done my grill and head lamp trims in satin black bumper paint, make sure you use a good plastic primer first.

I feel your pain with the seats. Yours look worse than mine (your steering wheel at least). I used some Mcguires leather cleaner and restorer. I went over every piece of leather rubbing it in with nothing more than a tooth brush. It took all day but the results are amazing. However the deep creases like you've got although they've faded are still visible. I'm happy with the results but if you wanted it looking immaculate then I guess it's new leather or finding a immaculate interior. If you are tempted to go down that route I do know a breaker who has a mint Nappa leather interior but he wants quite a steep price for it. I think you could twist his arm a bit as he's had it a while. I've seen it in the flesh and it is very very nice. Slightly darker leather than beige you've (we) have at the mo.

yeah/ i can refurbish the seats myself, just a bit of a pain! one of those jobs that can wait though really. dont want to spend cash on unnecessary things right now, most important jobs first. brakes need sorting, discs pads, accumalator! Also think ive got a leaking air bag, as after it sat all week it was on its arse yesterday.

just accidently bought some nappa leather seats. gonna try and fit them without the mrs noticing lol

lol! I wonder why she noticed that. only paid 200 quid so well chuffed, ill hide them till monday when shes at work.

soooooo I have finally managed to do a little bit more on the car. front end is finished now, grill tidied up and pair of y2k headlights. (bargain £50 of flea bay). interior is still waiting, having a baby and 2 other kids makes time to do stuff difficult lol.

cheeky! just the 2 shades lol. yeah the grill is a bit light. looks worse than in the picture than it is. Im a painter and its not bothering me that much! the mirrors are though, #next job! Na not bothered about fog lights to be honest, dont see the point as its not a big difference.

No I recoloured it. I used the products from work but a few guys hhave bought a kit of ebay to dye it and have had success with it.

just managed to get a result on ebay, abs pump and accumalator for 20quid! happy days.

Be wery i spent £70 on one few years back that didnt work when i mesaged the seller he said i must have fitted it wrong cos it worked when he removed it
Ebay dispute lol

ive not fitted it/ its still in box lol. brakes have been good as gold! when i picked the car up itd been sat 2 weeks, and battery was a bit weak. Think maybe it was just that, also it does need some pads on front.

So I had a few hours to kill this afternoon and thought I'd paint my mirrors as they were looking a bit tired. Got a bit trigger happy though and did side mouldings as well. Not sure now though! Think it needs a black insert too break it up.
