Hi all- my first post! - and yes please help!?

Having been to LR to collect the O rings and washers my father-in-law fitted them yesterday. However driving home the engine completely cut off- the whole unit is filled with fuel.

I am 99% confident he fitted them correctly however having been looking on the net I've noticed there is two type of td5 engine (1999 discovery) a 10 and 15. The question is really have we been supplied the incorrect O rings by LR - and do the two types require different O rings? Mine is a td5 10

Many thanks all -

then IMO remains the 1% possibility that there is some fitting error cos the seals and washers are the same for all Td5's...it's very important to respect the proper procedure and work with extreme care to keep everything 100% clean and well fixed

Buy genuine OEM washers and O rings. Everything must be squeaky clean. It is easy to pinch the O rings when reinstalling the injectors.
