Dropped and lost a couple of nuts when trying to fit spot lights so I'm trying to locate replacements.

Problem: the nuts fit into a 12mm spanner, what's the common description? Is it M12?

M8 would be 13mm spanner size though... unless they are Japanese of course?

12mm spanner size for m8 bolts is quite common with after market stuff but not on a disco as std jap spec or not

Haha no, the Japs don't use 13mm anything on their cars as they are very superstitious.
