works well until the same copper pulls you twice

I'm trying to think of the best solution on my disco as its currently bolted over the hole where the winch would go on my bumper but as soon as I put a winch in there I think I'll have to get a bonnet sticker!

Same problem here, but I got a bonnet pod. Im toying with the idea of a roof light bar and just have the number plate and cb aerial on it.

A light bar would work, first overhanging branch is taking it out though, at least with a roof rack it'd have a bit of protection :scratching_chin:

Thinking about it there's not a lot of places to put it, unless you get a brack made up on your bumper, I have a tubular bumper so it'd have to be a couple of L shaped brackets tacked onto the top i suppose

I have mine Velcro'd onto the passenger side vent flap. Fingers crossed not had a problem yet. :)

Fair point. Maybe just a sticker on the roof then:)
I used to hav a sticker one on the bonnet until the mot station failed it. he said camera's would'nt be able to read it. so mounted it to the roof rack, he try,d the same trick again, so i promptly told him if the police
camera was that crap i,d better build one 6 foot in size so it would pass

Could you mount it off to one or other side of the bumper? I have a mil bumper with a central towing pintle so have put mine off to the drivers side, and riveted it on.

You could also get a square or standard one done have it mounted on the winch bumper.

Hahaha yep very technical indeed!

Ahh sorry must have missed your post!

(unless you already mentioned it..) Could be easily held on by screwing it into some jubilee clips.

personally for now i would just keep it as it is, if you get pulled by the old bill, just tell them it just fell off, and your sunvisor was the best thing to fix it to untill you get home :)
