Hi Guys and Gals. Further update to my previous post. I Got a Land Rover Freelander 2 2007 and live in Reading, Berkshire. I have a NSR door lock fault. It Would not open from either inside or using remote key. However, I have now managed to open the door by being inside the car and holding out the lock lever on the door while pressing the open button on the remote. It appears that the opening side has gone lazy, as it seems to try to push out the lock lever on the door but it does'nt and therefore the door stays locked. If I push the lock button on the remote, to lock the doors, the lock lever retracts quickly. Any ideas on what could be the problem would be appreciated. Cheers

Thankyou. Hmmm yes, I was sort of thinking the same but wasn't sure. Are they easy enough to replace?

Easy enough to do - remove window regulator, remove exterior door handle and then unscrew the latch and refit is a reverse!

Reality might be different! :)
