I'm thinking of doing a few of the lanes around either Biggin Hill\Westerham or Shoreham\Eynesford on Monday night. I've posted on the local Kent Off Road site to see if anyone wants to tag along so thought I'd post on here as well... Will only be a couple of hours as there are not too many lanes in the area and nothing too extreme!

Depending on uptake depends on starting point - will update over the weekend if anyone wants to join - let me know!

7.30\7.45pm from Shell Garage Locks Bottom for Biggin Hill\Westerham lanes
or
7.30\7.45pm from The Plough Pub Eynesford (where the ford is) for Eynesford\Shoreham lanes.

I'll update over the weekend which one for definate.

ah bollix, not available Monday night, but would otherwise be up for it.

Then again, not sure you'd want me tagging along in my freelander...

There are a few lanes within an hours drive or so. I've done about four or five in the freelander, one was right on the limit of what I felt comfy with, being a) alone and b) on road tyres but was a good drive right enough.

They were mostly round Cobham way...(not giving too much away, clearly marked on OS maps)

Freelanders OK by me - its all a Green Oval! The ones I'm thinking of doing are freelander friendly as long as you don't mind a scratch or 2 but that the kent lanes for ya!

I know the ones you are talking about near Cobham. Stay well clear of them now. All TRO'd due to off piste drivers ripping the woods up. Shame really as the actual bi-way was OK...

the forestry commission one by the mausoleum is still open (was last week) but (luckily it now seems) didn't have time for the others.

No worries. Hope you didn't get too many marks on that nice new paint work... Has a coming together with a tree after you left. Not good....
