Hi everyone! After about 6 months of looking I,m finally the proud owner of a 96 Disco. Chose it with very limited knowledge but did enough research to know the main things to look out for. 143k on the clock but engine seems fit enough - 7 seater with springs on and only rot I can find (so far!) is a small patch on the inner wing under bonnet on drivers side. Jobs planned shortly are the egr to remove, oil and filters to change and a cam belt before long as no idea what stage it,s had a replacement. Seems a great forum and I,m taking full advantage of the search function at the moment and hope to contribute something worthwhile soon. Situated Boro/Redcar area - anybody local to me on the forum? Apologies for the longwinded intro!!
