I'm in Norfolk for a couple of weeks, if anyone is doing any laning give me a shout, does anyone know if Peddars way is drivable I've been told most of it is but looking on MM I'm not so sure,

I'm visiting my folks for a long weekend i'd love to hook up for the drive?

Their based in Seething 10 miles south of Norwich, could you pm me the start point and a time?

110 station wagon with BFT A/T and a winch. Not wishing to be to girly but how over grown is the route, I don't have that many bush strips down the side :)

Last time we drove Peddars way, about 5 or so years ago, we wondered why we'd brought the Landrover! Very few overgrown bits, a few ruts but nothing a standard Freelander, for instance, couldn't easily do.

Of course, that may have changed, shrubbery may overhang for instance, but our recollection was a fantastic lane, very beautiful views, with a diversity of lane types that stayed consistently driveable .. ;)

Check with the leaders that the parts you're driving aren't TRO'd, for instance, West Acle fords were ace, just passable without a snorkle, but are now a no-go area ...

we are currently looking at meeting at the kfc in kings lynn as a meet up point then setting off from there

saturday 11am at
KFC
Hardwick Rd
King's Lynn PE30 4HZ
set off at 11.30 and spend the day playing in the lanes if your coming just let me know :)
