Here’s the engine spec for my “Gaylander”. It’ll follow a Defender anywhere but get there quicker so in that case I suppose the Defender would be following me

Welcome to the forum Warren. Those are fine stats, probably on a par as my old Rover L series oil burner, which is also the dogs doodahs :)

They're also not quite as good as the latest Freelander 3...

I was taken for a spin in 1 around the Cotswolds by someone who didn't have to pay the fuel (or maintenance!) bill - very exhilarating :)
