Hello everyone.

Well after another link up to a Landrover computer to input the keycode stuff again last week it has not started again this week!

I had a new battery from Landy fitted as mine wasn't in the best of states and hoped this would sort it, but no.

Along with the refurbished BeCm, new Reciever and Key it still gives me no warning and fails to start occasionally!!!

The alarm seems to go off when it wants now, even if left unlocked and I have come out to find all the indicators illuminated but not flashing.

This is really getting on my tits now, I now they have problems but come on!!

Anyone out there had same or similar problems? :doh:

i did alarm going off flat bat none start got to the stage i nearly hit it with a big stick. then i found out i had dry joints in plug on a post drivers side dont know if this is common. took fault meater to find it hope this help you

I presume that sorted it?
When I first got involved with the problem I did notice the plugs in that area were a bit green from water coming in through the pollen Filters.

I have cleaned them with electrical cleaner and presumed that would be it, obviously not!

What did you do?

unpluged it and resolid the wires just got to finish off tomorow some of joints looked dry

I had a devil in my volvo 960 cd estate, one indicator light on constant etc.and would'nt start, knife scraped every fuse and relay for good contact, took an hour. while doing so found that relay to alarm horn seemed to stop it starting. so left in the relay but checked wires to the alarm horn and took a few bits out of the horn disabling it but left it wired as was, everything worked after except the horn. rr 2.5 dse

Check engine bay fuse box, lift all the relays and check for burning marks on the board.

i dont belive this went out today and wont start out of sinc again 5 times in 6 weeks i think its big stick time fed up and unhappy j
