Hello to all!!!
My HSE develop a noise/ clunk on the frontt right wheel .
It sounds like a damage drop link, but only when i turn to the left, only then it clunks!!! On a straight line, over bumps not a single sound. !!!!!
The drop links are new 1 month
Ball join the same like a month too
There are no problems on the steering either
The tire doesnt show any signs of miss alignment
Any ideas
ManyThanks

Otherwise suspect the suspension strut top bearing and / or the rubber mount in the top mounting. I have a creaky noise on one side front. Cured it for a while with some silicon spray but it is back. Think the shock is moving a bit in the top mount.

NOISE!!!! and the word Freelander =£$£$£$£$£$ but not the Freelander one. Your problem fixing it yourself sounds like a $100 fix

Helloooo
Well nothing wrong with anti roll bar was checked and now as some poli bushes.
the top bearing was replaced 1 year ago (Febi) and they are fine.
THis is very strange, it sounds like a drop link but only when you turn to the left!!!!

Ok. You didn't say :)

Wheel bearing ? Disc catching on back plate?
Tyre catching plastic liner on full lock? Play in rack?

Its like the clunk of a damage drop link
Imagiine you make a lefft turn over bumps and you have the clunk No bearing, nott plastic if it was a the back plate iiit would not be a clunk , or tyre.
THe strange part is its only tturning to the left and its just the right wheel
