Hi folks help I have no spark on 1999 1.8 freelander AA man said no spark from coil to dizzy cap changed coil still nothing any ideas
 
If there's no power reaching the coil, then the crankshaft position sensor is the next thing to check.
 
If you have a multimeter, just check if your coil is getting power. They’re generally extremely reliable. A more common fault on these earlier cars is a faulty distributor cap and/ or rotor arm.
 
Also consider the condition of the HT leads - particularly the one between the coil and dizzy cap...
