Hmmm, ferrodo hand brake shoes...
Just a word in the ear.
The ferrodo kit for the disco 3/4 handbrake, the kit is of poor quality I found doing my last job on a clients car.
The clips that hold the shoe to the backing plate were the first issue as when they are compressed to fit around the pin they don't spring back and fold unlike sprung steel.
The second was the secondary adjuster, the 5mm alen bolt. The head of the bolt is as soft as butter so when it's undone it'll give up straight away. I'm fortunate to find this out before fitting the kit to the backing plate.... I did however use the original LR ones in the old shoes.
Last but not least and the real pain in the orifice...
On the handbrake bedding in process and letting the shoes cool between stops the material let go on the shoes and locked the epb which led to a total strip down, ruined handbrake shoes, scarred disks on the handbrake surface and the ebp being removed because it would not unjam with the diag suite....
A more gentle approach to the bedding in was a gentle rolling and pinching the handbrake up a few times.
Fortunately the epb gears weren't ruined...
So, my advice at this point is that the current ferrodo kit isn't upto scratch and an alternative should be found. Ate or other. ☺️
 
Ferodo used to be the go to land rover series brake shoes, then they got real poor (Iirc it was the steel spring pin kept snapping of) so it was then britpart who have been good for a few years now.

Think I got my D3 hand brake shoes off Maltings 4x4, been ok so far, no idea on the make?
The spring clips seem crap on all the shoe kits, so this Time I used M6 nuts and bolts and nipped up the nut/bolt so the shoes just touched the steel back plate, best hbrake the thing has had in 9 years!
 
I also found that the handbrake cables had pulled the backing plate into the disks over time. A sizable hammer put that to rest. 👍
