I want to put a new set of plugs in the '72 Series 3 Petrol 2.25. The champion un12y recommended by the book doesn't seem to exist (or if it does I can't find it!) Can someone recommend a good spark plug (and if possible a good pplace to get them). Cheers Lard. Must go, something's frying......

you sure it's UN12Y?
I thought the NGK plug to use was BP6ES, but that's listed as equivalent to UN79Y.

Just nip to your local shop and ask for compatible ones. If they dont look through a book and find the right ones then theres sumit wrong. Multipoint ones last a little longer, but a plugs a plug really
