Hi guys, got a problem with my 300 tdi disco (95) headlights wont turn on to main beam or hi beam, I have the side lights working and indicators.

The things i've checked so far are, bulbs (i got new and checked they work) fuses replaced old for new just in case, replaced the h4 bulb holders, even swapped around the relays in the passenger footwell, and checked the connection on the dip relay in the engine bay ( does anyone know how to check these things work??)

what else can i check!!!!! as i'm about to torch the bloody thing (not really) or can i bypass all the switches and relays and put in a seperate switch (yes i know it's a bodge but i'm at that stage of just saying f**k it)

Light switches have be known to go faulty, try a replacement. Don't know what the relay is in the engine bay, there's only one thats' for the dim-dip and that's behind the passenger kick panel.
